Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-04-12
Makiaveli respects your privacy. This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
Information we collect
- Account data — email, username, and password hash when you sign up. Optional profile fields (avatar, bio) if you add them.
- Usage data — which AI requests you make, which models you use, how many tokens they consume, and how much we charged in credits. Used for billing and for the usage history table you see in /dashboard/billing.
- Project data — the files, messages, and chat history inside the projects you create. Stored on the platform's SQLite database on the server.
- Published site analytics — per-visit logs of published sites (referrer, country, user-agent) used for the visit counter and basic analytics.
What we do NOT collect
- We do not track you across other websites.
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not share your project files or chat history with any third party.
- We do not use your project data to train any AI model.
Third-party services
When you chat with the AI, the request is forwarded to whichever LLM provider you've selected (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, etc.). Each provider has its own privacy policy. Makiaveli uses the provider's API directly — we do not retain extra copies of your prompts beyond the local SQLite history.
If you connect your own Supabase project, your app's database queries go directly to your Supabase instance. Makiaveli does not proxy or inspect the content of those queries.
Your rights
- Access — download all your data from /dashboard/settings.
- Deletion — delete your account and all associated data at any time.
- Correction — edit your profile fields from /dashboard/settings.
